Kolkata/Jamshedpur, Feb 20 (NationPress) East Bengal FC is set to take on Sporting Club Delhi at the Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan (VYBK) in Kolkata, while Jamshedpur FC will host Punjab FC at the JRD Tata Sports Complex in Jamshedpur during a thrilling double-header on Saturday, part of Gameweek 2 of the Indian Super League 2025-26.

These matches, featuring two newcomers against seasoned competitors, will kick off the weekend fixtures in the new season, with both East Bengal FC and Jamshedpur FC eager to extend their winning streak.

East Bengal FC vs Sporting Club Delhi

East Bengal FC enters this contest following a dominant 3-0 victory over NorthEast United FC in their season opener at the same venue. Youssef Ezzejjari netted twice, and Miguel Ferreira added another to secure the win for the Red and Gold Brigade.

In a pre-match statement, East Bengal FC’s head coach Óscar Bruzón remarked, “SC Delhi are not an unknown side for us.
