Mohammedan Sporting Club's head coach Mehraj Ud Din Wadoo made three adjustments to his starting eleven, introducing Upen Tudu, Maharabam Maxion, and Lalngaihsaka in lieu of Dinesh Mitei, Thokchom Adison Simgh, and Ashley Alban Koli while utilizing a 4-3-3 formation led by the experienced Sajal Bag.
