Vastrakar had been sidelined from competitive cricket since late 2024 due to a shoulder injury.

She completed her rehabilitation at the BCCI’s Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Bengaluru and was set to integrate with RCB just before the fourth edition of WPL. However, two days prior to her expected return, she unfortunately sustained a hamstring injury, prolonging her stay at CoE.
