Bengaluru, Aug 19 (NationPress) Ridhima Dilawari and Jasmine Shekar, both of whom have triumphed in the last two tournaments of the Women’s Pro Golf Tour, are set to lead the competition alongside Vidhatri Urs and the seasoned Neha Tripathi in the 11th Leg of the Tour, taking place at the stunning Prestige Golfshire, nestled at the base of the Nandi Hills.
A total of 29 professionals and 5 amateurs will kick off their rounds in this leg of the WPGT, which boasts a total purse of Rs. 15 lakhs.
In July, Ridhima clinched victory in the 10th Leg after finishing as a runner-up on two other occasions this season, while Jasmine secured her win in the ninth Leg, surpassing Neha Tripathi. Vidhatri is still in search of her first win this season.
Among the other notable participants are Seher Atwal, Kriti Chowhan, Durga Nittur, Khushi Khanijau, and Anvitha Narender.
The amateurs are led by Mannat Brar, who has displayed remarkable performance this season.
Ridhima Dilawari, currently second on the Hero Order of Merit with earnings of Rs.9,58,000 this year, has the opportunity to become only the second player ever to exceed the Rs.10 lakh milestone, following Vani Kapoor, who is competing in the Hills Open in Sweden this week.
In the opening round, Ridhima will be paired with Jahaanvie Walia and amateur Mannat Brar, while Jasmine will compete alongside Geetika Ahuja and amateur Riddhima Singh.
A significant contingent of Indian players is participating in the Ladies European Tour this week, including familiar names like Vani Kapoor, Amandeep Drall, Sneha Singh, and Hitaashee Bakshi.
This marks the 11th leg of the Tour in 2025. Of the previous 10 events, Vani Kapoor emerged victorious four times, Sneha Singh twice, and four players, including Rhea Purvi Saravanan, Amandeep Drall, Jasmine, and Ridhima, have each secured a win.
