Sydney, June 30 (NationPress) Fast bowler Ryan Hadley has officially renewed his contract with Sydney Thunder for the upcoming Big Bash League (BBL) season 15, as announced by the club on Monday.
Hadley began his cricketing journey at the Rooty Hill RSL Cricket Club in Western Sydney, progressing through the New South Wales cricket pathway.
His skills were highlighted in 2017 when he earned a spot on Australia's team for the 2018 ICC U19 World Cup.
Despite not playing in BBL 14, the towering pacer had a remarkable domestic summer, claiming seven wickets across four Sheffield Shield matches for New South Wales.
Hadley expressed his excitement about giving back to the Western Sydney community that played a crucial role in his cricketing development.
"Growing up in the Blacktown area and supporting the Thunder made it a true honor to return to my roots. Especially to surprise local juniors," Hadley stated.
