Home Minister Amit Shah conducted an on-site inspection of the newly deployed dairy infrastructure, including the mobile laboratory and bulk milk cooler systems, as Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena observed the demonstration.
The app-based milk collection system enables direct farmer-to-processor transactions, reducing intermediaries and improving price realisation for Ladakh's dairy producers, with Union Minister Rajiv Ranjan Singh and Lieutenant Governor Saxena present.
The integrated dairy modernisation initiative combines three components—mobile laboratory for on-site quality testing, bulk milk cooler for temperature-controlled storage, and digital collection platform—to strengthen Ladakh's dairy value chain.
