Rajnath Singh meets gallantry awardees' families

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh met and interacted with family members of gallantry award recipients following the Defence Investiture Ceremony 2026 (Phase-I) held in New Delhi on 8 June 2026.

The Defence Investiture Ceremony 2026 (Phase-I) was conducted in New Delhi on 8 June 2026, recognising armed forces personnel with honours including the Kirti Chakra and Shaurya Chakra.

Gallantry honours including the Kirti Chakra and Shaurya Chakra were conferred on Indian Armed Forces personnel at the ceremony, with Rajnath Singh presiding as Defence Minister.

After the formal ceremony, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh personally interacted with families of the gallantry award recipients, acknowledging the sacrifices of Indian Armed Forces personnel and their kin in New Delhi on 8 June 2026.
