South Korean Marines and New Zealand military personnel participated in a joint boarding and dismounting drill using a KAAV amphibious assault vehicle in Pohang, located approximately 270 kilometers southeast of Seoul, on April 26, 2026. The exercise was part of a weeklong regular amphibious landing operation conducted by South Korea's Navy and Marine Corps to bolster combat preparedness against evolving future warfare threats.
