Singrauli (Madhya Pradesh), Sep 17 (NationPress) On the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 75th birthday, a significant blood donation camp was held on Wednesday at the District Hospital and Trauma Centre in Singrauli, Madhya Pradesh. The event witnessed enthusiastic engagement from both citizens and officials, culminating in 75 individuals donating blood.

This initiative was part of the BJP's 'Sewa Pakhwada', a nationwide effort spanning a fortnight to honor PM Modi’s birthday through various public service and welfare programs.

Among those present were District Incharge and PHE Minister Sampatiya Uikey, Gram Panchayat State Development Minister Radha Singh, local MLAs, and senior district administration officials. The event commenced with the ministers examining a special stall established by the Women and Child Development Department under the ‘Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar Abhiyan.'

Nutritional kits were provided to pregnant women, along with expert advice on health and well-being.

The focal point of the event was the blood donation camp, where 75 donors stepped forward to contribute. Minister Uikey personally engaged with and congratulated the donors, praising their altruistic acts. She highlighted how such contributions align with PM Modi's vision for a robust and self-sufficient India.

Uikey remarked, “Today, on our Prime Minister’s 75th birthday, he has bestowed upon Madhya Pradesh developmental projects worth crores. The first textile park under the PM-Mitra Yojana has been inaugurated in Dhar district, making Madhya Pradesh the first beneficiary of this initiative. We extend our gratitude to both PM Modi and our Chief Minister for this.”

A live broadcast of the PM’s address during the National Park inauguration in Dhar was also streamed at the venue, linking Singrauli's citizens with the state-wide festivities.

In alignment with the broader 'Sewa Pakhwada' initiative, BJP-led governments nationwide have introduced numerous programs running from September 17 to October 2, including health camps, blood donation drives, cleanliness campaigns, youth runs, and fairs to promote indigenous products.
