Mumbai, Dec 12 (NationPress) Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth celebrated her father Rajinikanth's birthday with heartfelt wishes. On social media, she shared a touching moment from the festivities, posting a photo of herself feeding birthday cake to her beloved father.

In her emotional birthday message, she expressed, "My life.. My father.. Happy Birthday Thalaiva..." (sic).

For those unfamiliar, Aishwaryaa directed Rajinikanth in her debut film, "Lal Salaam", where the superstar made a special appearance.

This film was produced by Allirajah Subaskaran under the Lyca Productions banner, featuring Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth in lead roles, alongside a talented ensemble cast including Vignesh, Livingston, Senthil, Jeevitha, K. S. Ravikumar, and Thambi Ramaiah.

Aishwaryaa's ex-husband, actor Dhanush, also conveyed a sweet birthday message for Rajinikanth. On his social media platform X (formerly Twitter), he wrote, "Happy birthday thalaiva" (sic), along with emojis depicting folded hands, a star-struck face, sunglasses, and red hearts.

After nearly two decades of marriage, Aishwaryaa and Dhanush announced their separation via a joint social media post, stating, "18 years of togetherness as friends, couple, as parents and well-wishers to each other. The journey has been of growth, understanding, adjusting and adapting. Today we stand at a place where our paths separate..." (sic). They requested respect and privacy during this time.

The couple has two sons, Yatra and Linga.

Additionally, numerous prominent figures from the film industry extended their warm wishes to Thalaiva on his 75th birthday.

Notable actor Kamal Haasan shared a photo of himself with Rajinikanth, both dressed in black, and wrote, "75 years of a remarkable life. 50 years of legendary cinema. Happy birthday, my friend @rajinikanth" (sic).
