New Delhi, Oct 10 (NationPress) In a vibrant effort to engage with the youth and highlight opportunities in the Armed Forces, the Army has organized an outreach event in Assam, drawing participation from NCC cadets across four districts within the state.
On October 10, the outreach was executed by the Army Recruiting Office (ARO) Narangi, under the supervision of the Zonal Recruiting Office (ZRO) Shillong, at the Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC-110) and Youth Adventure and Motivational Session (YAMS) of 5 Assam NCC Battalion.
The event witnessed the enthusiastic involvement of 425 NCC cadets from four districts of Assam—Biswanath, Sonitpur, Udalguri, and Darrang.
A standout feature of the programme was a session dedicated to Operation Sindoor, aimed at enlightening the cadets about the decisive and brave actions undertaken by the Indian Armed Forces.
This session emphasized the military’s strength, resilience, and operational capabilities, leaving a profound impact on the young participants.
“Following the session, a motivational lecture was provided, giving cadets a thorough perspective on life within the Armed Forces and the various career opportunities available,” remarked an Army official.
“The interactive approach encouraged cadets to engage directly with the ARO team, enabling them to ask questions and gain authentic insights into the recruitment process and life in service,” the official added.
The outreach was efficiently organized by the Director and team from ARO Narangi, ensuring the event remained engaging, enlightening, and inspiring throughout.
This initiative not only nurtured a stronger sense of patriotism among the cadets but also reinforced the Army’s connection with the youth in the region.
Such programs play a crucial role in guiding and motivating the upcoming generation towards a path of honor, service, and nation-building.
The initiative clarified misconceptions surrounding army recruitment and served as a robust motivational platform, encouraging cadets to aspire for a life of service, discipline, and honor.
