New Delhi, Oct 6 (NationPress) Senior Indian official and former G20 Sherpa Amitabh Kant expressed his enthusiasm on Monday about joining the advisory board of ‘AsiaXchange 2025’, a significant gathering of global and regional leaders organized by The Rockefeller Foundation in Jakarta, Indonesia.
"Thrilled to be part of the Advisory Board for #AsiaXchange25 by @RockefellerFdn and to participate in the event in Jakarta, Indonesia. Engaging, dynamic discussions on Shaping the Future: Asia’s Evolving Role," Kant shared on his X account.
During a panel discussion, Kant emphasized the necessity for major Asian economies—China, India, Korea, Japan, and Indonesia—to collaborate in enhancing trade.
This three-day event, running from October 6 to 8, has convened policymakers, business leaders, philanthropists, representatives from multilateral bodies, scholars, and community advocates under the theme ‘From Solutions To Scale’, aimed at uplifting marginalized communities throughout Asia.
AsiaXchange 2025 has an urgent mission: to ensure that effective solutions for improving underserved communities are not limited in scope but are instead expanded across borders, sectors, and generations, allowing for inclusive growth in Asia.
In light of shifting demographics, geopolitical changes, and pressing climate and development challenges, AsiaXchange 2025 will focus on three strategic pillars: Inspire, Connect, and Invest.
Elizabeth Yee, Executive Vice President of Programs at The Rockefeller Foundation, stated, “We believe in the transformative power of collaboration to reshape systems and achieve large-scale impact.”
"AsiaXchange 2025 aims to take proven solutions to impactful scales—showing how cross-border collaboration can cultivate bold ideas and foster a more inclusive and sustainable future for everyone," Yee noted in a previous statement.
This year's event continues the success of two previous AsiaXchange gatherings held in New Delhi in 2023 and Bangkok in 2024, reinforcing The Rockefeller Foundation's dedication to supporting underserved communities and promoting sustainable futures throughout Asia and beyond.
