Mumbai, Aug 6 (NationPress) Filmmaker Ayan Mukerji has opened up about the creation of the song “Aavan Jaavan”, featuring Hrithik Roshan and Kiara Advani. He expressed his delight at the decision to film in Italy, a location he believes perfectly complements the song's essence.
The track was filmed across some of Italy's most enchanting and iconic sites, from the tranquil countryside of Tuscany to the lively streets of Rome.
Elaborating on the concept for the song, Ayan stated: “We aimed for a backdrop that encapsulates a love story. It needed to resonate as a beautiful travel anthem, where two individuals revel in love while exploring the world. Hence, I was truly thrilled when we finalized Italy as our filming location.”
Choreographer Bosco Martis remarked that the song evokes a sense of being in a stunning exotic locale.
“Tuscany has provided us with remarkable beauty and a vibrant palette. It's truly fantastic,” Martis expressed.
Reflecting on their time in Rome, Ayan emphasized the grandeur and challenges involved, stating, “Upon arriving in Rome, I realized we needed to capture some iconic sights like the Colosseum, the Spanish Steps, and the Trevi Fountain. These locations posed significant filming challenges and required special permissions.”
“However, everything fell into place. We managed to film at all these remarkable sites, and we are immensely proud of our work,” he added.
The dedication behind the visuals is palpable in every scene.
“There was a wonderful camaraderie among the crew while assembling the song. It’s a beautiful piece, and we enjoyed the creative process. I hope audiences feel as good experiencing the song and its visuals as we did while making it,” Ayan concluded.
“War 2”, directed by Ayan Mukerji and produced by Aditya Chopra, is set to be released on August 14 in theaters worldwide in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil.
