Los Angeles, Oct 7 (NationPress) Hollywood actor-director Ben Affleck and singer-actress Jennifer Lopez may have gone their separate ways, yet the mutual respect they maintain is genuinely admirable.

Affleck continues to back JLo's professional projects. JLo, aged 56, stars in the soon-to-be-released musical, ‘Kiss of the Spider Woman’, and attended the premiere in New York City, according to People magazine.

Affleck, who is also an executive producer of the film, made an unexpected appearance at the N.Y.C. event. The film was co-produced by Affleck and Matt Damon through their production company, Artist Equity. At the premiere, the former couple celebrated the film's production by posing together.

According to People, several images captured the two stars conversing on the red carpet. Affleck, aged 53, also addressed the media about the film. For the occasion, JLo donned a stunning gown from Harris Reed's spring 2026 collection.

Before the screening, JLo introduced the film and expressed her gratitude towards her ex-husband, stating, “Thank you so much, and thank you everyone for being here tonight. Thank you, Ben, this movie wouldn’t have come to fruition without you and Artist Equity.”

“I read the script in bed and was utterly captivated,” she added. “I couldn’t believe it was happening. I get to sing, dance, act, and embody an old-time Hollywood movie star.”

Affleck's supportive attendance comes after their 2025 divorce. The former couple first met in 2002 and began dating, but their engagement ended in 2004. After exploring other relationships and building families, they reignited their romance in 2021 and tied the knot in a private Las Vegas ceremony in July 2022.

The following month, they celebrated their marriage with a second ceremony in Georgia surrounded by friends and family. In 2024, they separated, citing irreconcilable differences, and finalized their divorce in February.
