Mumbai, April 2 (NationPress) Actress Bhumi Pednekar has revealed how fashion has significantly influenced her path to self-discovery.
During an open dialogue, the actress discussed how trying out various styles has encouraged her to accept her authentic self and demonstrate her uniqueness. Bhumi expressed how fashion has evolved into a vital means of self-expression for her, enabling her to delve into and accept her real identity.
The ‘Badhaai Do’ actress told IANS, “For me, fashion is a form of self-expression. My exploration of self has greatly been shaped by my fashion selections. I’ve realized that what brings me joy and reflects who I am is engaging in unconventional activities. Therefore, my fashion decisions, film preferences, and the life I aspire to lead are distinctly different from what is considered normal, but that’s simply who I am.”
Bhumi, who showcased her style for fashion designer Amit Aggarwal at Lakmé Fashion Week in Mumbai, spoke at the Magnum Lounge during the fashion event. She made a stunning fashion statement in a Banarasi saree paired with a corset and balloon pants.
The actress also discussed her forthcoming project, “The Royals,” which features Ishaan Khatter, Sakshi Tanwar, Zeenat Aman, Chunky Panday, and Nora Fatehi. Directed by Priyanka Ghose and Nupur Asthana, this eight-episode romantic comedy series is set to provide an insight into the glamour and romance of royal existence. Expressing her enthusiasm, the ‘Dum Laga Ke Haisha’ actress noted that she hasn't previously participated in an urban rom-com.
