New Delhi, Sep 12 (NationPress) A remarkable 93 percent of CEOs believe that the government has played a significant role in facilitating India’s ascent on the global stage, while 92 percent affirm that India’s global standing is robust, as revealed by a recent survey.
According to the research conducted by the Public Relations Consultants Association of India (PRCAI) in partnership with Astrum Advisory, 89 percent of CEOs express confidence in India's growth trajectory. Furthermore, 54 percent feel that India effectively utilizes strategic communications to enhance its international image.
The survey, which included insights from 123 CEOs across six major cities, indicates that 84 percent of these leaders are optimistic about India's future prospects.
The report emphasizes that reputation is the most crucial asset for India's economic development and its role in global leadership.
CEOs identify climate readiness, geopolitical strategy, digital innovation, and human resources as key factors for India's global leadership. They also recognize the importance of communication and reputation management as vital components in converting progress into global influence.
Highlighting India's strategic advancements under the Prime Minister's guidance, the findings also warn that issues such as policy unpredictability, risks related to AI, and perception gaps concerning civic and environmental matters could jeopardize global trust if not effectively addressed.
“A public figure's reputation is gauged not by speeches or photo ops, but by real outcomes. Trust is earned when a child arrives at school well-nourished, when a woman finds safety and economic independence, and when families experience fairness in governance. These moments ultimately shape India’s credibility on the world stage,” stated former Cabinet Minister Smriti Irani.
She emphasized the pivotal role of women in enhancing India's reputation, showcasing how their leadership in politics, business, and culture embodies values of resilience, ambition, and inclusivity.
Reflecting on India's shifting identity, Irani remarked, “Brand India is currently evolving. Brands fail not due to a lack of success but due to a failure to adapt.”
Kunal Kishore, President of PRCAI, noted, “Reputation today transcends mere communication; it is a strategy that influences trust in boardrooms, credibility in markets, and sway on the global stage.”
