Los Angeles, Dec 11 (NationPress) The Hollywood star Cynthia Erivo, who recently gained attention for her playful antics during the promotional tour of 'Wicked: For Good', has disclosed that she seeks therapy following a film shoot.
The 38-year-old actress shares the screen with notable talents such as Ariana Grande and Jonathan Bailey in the 'Wicked' film series, according to 'Female First UK'.
When asked about her post-movie rituals, Cynthia revealed in an interview with 'Variety', "Sleep. And then a therapy session. Throughout filming, I often hold onto various emotions, and once the project is completed, I truly allow myself to release it all. The last time, after the Oscars, I was on a flight to South Africa for a new film, and I cried the entire way, just letting myself be.”
Cynthia also emphasizes the importance of maintaining her physical health while working on a project.
She explained, "Whenever I arrive at a venue, I ensure there’s a treadmill available so that I can get my morning run in; there are no excuses. I bring along all the necessary teas, protein bars, and vitamins to keep myself healthy and energized, ensuring I remain vibrant and cheerful.”
As reported by 'Female First UK', Cynthia recently mentioned that she and Ariana made a commitment to each other prior to filming the 'Wicked' movies.
In her new book, Simply ‘More: A Book for Anyone Who Has Been Told They’re Too Much', Cynthia stated, "Before filming for 'Wicked' officially began, Ariana and I made a pact to protect and support each other during this journey. We often hear how female co-stars, or any co-stars for that matter, can let their egos interfere and compete against one another, disrupting the creative process. We were determined to do the opposite.”
Cynthia feels a strong connection with her co-star, who has become a close friend over the years.
