Mumbai, June 17 (NationPress) Celebrating the milestone of the 100th episode of their patriotic television series Fauji 2, the creators unveiled an emotional album titled Fauji 2.0.
Actress Ankita Lokhande, known for her role in Pavitra Rishta, shared that her husband, businessman Vicky Jain, made his acting debut with this show.
Reflecting on Fauji 2, she expressed, “Being part of a project that honors genuine heroes, rather than just reel ones, is profoundly humbling. Fauji 2 will forever hold a special place in my heart.”
Vicky remarked, “Contributing to Fauji 2.0 has allowed me to be part of something significant. It’s been an emotional and unforgettable journey.”
His co-actor Gauahar Khan emphasized, “This album represents more than just music—it serves as a living homage. It immortalizes our soldiers through every word and visual.”
The album launch saw actor Manoj Bajpayee as the chief guest.
“Sandeep has been a close friend of mine for two decades. I’ve always championed new talent—some even jokingly refer to me as a casting director because I frequently recommend newcomers. In an industry where connections fade, Sandeep has consistently remained genuine. This project epitomizes that same authenticity,” shared the star of The Family Man.
The Fauji 2.0 album features 10 tracks performed by renowned singers, including Sonu Nigam, Rekha Bhardwaj, Kunal Ganjawala, Javed Ali, Pratibha Singh Baghel, Ravi Tripathi, Shahzad Ali, Jazim Sharma, Abdul Shaikh, Zaid Darbar, and Pavneet Singh.
The track Bagheera also marks Zaid Darbar's directorial debut. He shared, “I always envisioned myself as someone who would merely appear in videos. However, Sandeep sir recognized something more—he saw a director within me. I’m thankful for this chance to convey my vision through Bagheera.”
Pavneet Singh noted, “Coming from an army lineage, this project is incredibly personal to me. I've spent six years striving in the Punjab music and acting scene, waiting for my moment. With Bagheera, I poured my soul into it. Thank you, Sandeep sir, for believing in me.”
