Gurugram, May 6 (NationPress) Shyamal Misra, the Chief Executive Officer of the Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA), on Tuesday, issued important directives aimed at hastening the resolution of challenges related to land acquisition, missing links, compensations, and demarcations. These measures are intended to facilitate the rapid advancement of infrastructure development initiatives undertaken by the Authority in Gurugram.
Mishra delivered these directives while presiding over the 15th coordination meeting on Tuesday evening at the GMDA office.
The GMDA is actively involved in various projects, including the construction of roads and the installation of essential services such as water supply, drainage networks, and sewer systems within its jurisdiction.
To guarantee swift progress in these infrastructure projects, GMDA is prioritizing the necessary actions to address on-ground challenges in collaboration with relevant departments.
The CEO emphasized that any obstacles hindering these projects should be resolved promptly for the greater good of the public.
He also stated that where issues have been settled and land is ready for acquisition, the respective divisions of GMDA should proceed with taking possession of the land to initiate pending works without delay.
During the meeting, Mishra highlighted the need for timely handling of compensation matters and any encroachment issues by the involved departments.
Additionally, he instructed the Haryana Shahari Vikas Paradhikaran (HSVP) and the Municipal Corporation Manesar (MCM) to speed up all active sewerage and drainage projects they are executing.
He reiterated that effective coordination among departments is essential for the success of all development initiatives in the city, urging regular meetings to swiftly address any emerging challenges.
