New Delhi/Washington, Dec 6 (NationPress) India and the United States engaged in a comprehensive review of various traditional and emerging threats during the 21st Meeting of the India-USA Joint Working Group (JWG) on Counter Terrorism (CT) and the 7th Designations Dialogue, held in New Delhi earlier this week, as stated by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) on Saturday.
The discussions, held on December 3, highlighted the significance of bilateral cooperation in combating terrorism, reflecting the essence and scope of the India-USA Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership.
Both nations categorically condemned terrorism in all its forms, including cross-border terrorism. They expressed alarm over the escalating use of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), drones, and artificial intelligence in terrorist activities. The Joint Statement condemned the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir on April 22, 2025, and the recent terror incident near the Red Fort in New Delhi on November 10, 2025, emphasizing that those accountable for terrorism must face justice.
