Abu Dhabi, Sep 19 (NationPress) India won the toss and chose to bat first against Oman in Match 12 of Group A in the Men's T20 Asia Cup 2025 at the Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium on Friday. Both teams made two substitutions from their previous matches.

For India, Varun Chakravarthy and Jasprit Bumrah were replaced by Arshdeep Singh and Harshit Rana. Oman saw Wasim Ali and Husnain Ali Shah miss out, with Mohammad Nadeem and Zikria Islam stepping in.

India's captain Suryakumar Yadav stated, “We are aiming to bat first. We haven’t done this in the tournament yet, and it’s crucial for us to understand our depth.
