Jaipur, Oct 29 (NationPress) In an extraordinary manifestation of patriotism and cohesion, inmates at the Special Central Jail in Shyalwas celebrated National Unity Day alongside the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel by assembling a massive map of India within the jail grounds on Wednesday.
Under the inspiring leadership of Jail Superintendent Paras Jangid and with guidance from Jailer Vikas Bagoria, over 400 inmates took part in this significant initiative.
They constructed a large map of India in the open area of the jail, sitting around it in a well-organized manner, symbolizing the essence of national unity and integrity.
The highlight of the event was a symbolic statue of Sardar Patel, positioned at the center of the map—an artistic tribute reminiscent of the Statue of Unity.
This creative homage became the focal point of the event, showcasing the inmates’ admiration for the Iron Man of India.
Patriotic chants resonated throughout the jail as the atmosphere brimmed with fervor. Inmates waved Tricolour flags and shouted slogans like “Bharat Mata Ki Jai,” “Vande Mataram,” “National Unity Zindabad,” and “Hum Sab Ek Hain.”
The creation of the giant map was led by inmate Sandeep Gupta, with support from Vikas Sharma, Mahesh, Nitin, Dinesh, Rajesh Murtikar, Ramprasad, and Praveen Saini, among others.
The event culminated in the collective singing of the national anthem, a touching gesture representing unity and patriotism.
This initiative sought to instill Sardar Patel’s principles of unity, integrity, and brotherhood among the inmates, reminding them that national pride and collective strength surpass all barriers.
