Mumbai, March 8 (NationPress) Filmmaker Karan Johar disclosed his preference for ‘kaagaz kalam’ over ‘laptops’, emphasizing that he still writes down his “thoughts and films”.
Karan shared his insights on Instagram stories, expressing that typing feels unnatural to him.
“Kagaz Kalam Vs Laptop... I still write my thoughts and feelings and films ... when I type it feels inorganic… I prefer Prabhat notebooks and fibre tip pens.... I enjoy crossing out words and writing over them instead of simply deleting them.....” he mentioned.
He recognizes the existence of digital notebooks; however, for him, writing in notebooks delivers a superior experience.
“I know there are digital notebooks as well but those seem like na idhar ka na udhar ka... likhna... likhna hota hai!”
His latest creation is “Nadaaniyan,” which debuted on Netflix on March 7. The film features Saif Ali Khan’s son Ibrahim Ali Khan as Arjun Mehta and Khushi Kapoor as Pia Jai Singh.
Directed by Shauna Gautam and produced by Dharmatic Entertainment, it also includes a remarkable supporting cast featuring Mahima Chaudhary, Suniel Shetty, Dia Mirza, and Jugal Hansraj. This romantic comedy represents the acting debut of Ibrahim.

Their paths cross when Pia persuades Arjun to pretend to be her boyfriend for a staged romance. Nevertheless, what starts as a straightforward plan soon becomes complex.
