Mumbai, Dec 9 (NationPress) Actor Karan Tacker is set to portray the late paranormal investigator Gaurav Tiwari in the upcoming supernatural thriller "Bhay - The Gaurav Tiwari Mystery".
During the launch event of the show's trailer, Karan shared his experiences regarding the hurdles he faced while embodying such a distinctive role.
He confessed to experiencing sleepless nights and even reaching out to his mother for comfort until he could finally drift off to sleep.
Karan expressed, “I don’t want to come off as overly dramatic, but portraying this character was particularly challenging for me to detach from the intense atmosphere on set when I returned home. There were numerous instances where I messaged my mom on my way home, asking, 'Mom, could you stay awake for me? Just share a cup of tea or perhaps lie down beside me until I fall asleep?' This isn't just a fictional horror show; it revolves around a real person's narrative and a tragic story of someone who has passed away, and that does linger with you.”
Karan recounted that before his tragic end, Gaurav frequently conveyed to his loved ones that he felt something was amiss.
“In the months leading up to his untimely death, Gaurav consistently expressed his discomfort and unease to his family. I drew motivation from that for my portrayal and kept that essence within me,” he added.
With hopes of honoring Gaurav's legacy, Karan concluded, “Ultimately, I’m just truly pleased with how everything has turned out. My aspiration is to uphold the legacy of Gaurav Tiwari and his entire team.”
