Gurugram, June 3 (NationPress) The Kho Kho Federation of India (KKFI), operating under the guidance of the International Kho Kho Federation (IKKF), is hosting an Advanced Level III-A Training Course aimed at coaches and technical officials globally to boost the growth of the sport and strengthen its scientific and technical framework.
The course kicked off on June 2 at Shree Guru Gobind Singh Tercentenary (SGT) University in Budhera and is set to run until June 15. Coaching sessions are planned from June 2 to June 11, followed by the technical officials' sessions from June 12 to June 15.
This comprehensive program features nearly 20 international coaches and officials from countries such as Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Iran, Australia, England, Korea, and Malaysia, in addition to 50 coaches and 65 technical officials representing various parts of India.
The Advanced Level III-A Training Course has been meticulously crafted to promote both technical skill and holistic advancements in the sport. Over the span of two weeks, attendees will delve into an array of topics including biomechanics, movement analysis, autogenic training for recovery, the integration of sports science into Kho Kho, doping awareness, sports psychology, scientific publications in sports, and the latest regulations established by the IKKF.
Noteworthy sessions during this course include discussions on pivotal elements influencing the contemporary game on June 5, featuring Sports Science in Kho Kho by Dr. Pooja Bhati, Doping Awareness by Dr. Vikas Tyagi and Dr. Anurag, and Attacker Training by esteemed coach Dr. H. V. Nataraj. Additionally, the day will commence with an early morning physical fitness session led by Ashwani Sharma.
