Mumbai, Feb 13 (NationPress) Just two months after making their relationship public on Instagram, actress Kritika Kamra and cricket host Gaurav Kapur are gearing up for their wedding in March, which promises to be a two and a half day celebration.

A source close to the wedding preparations informed IANS: “It will be a two and a half day event. Kritika's family is traveling from Delhi for the occasion.”

The celebrations are expected to be intimate, culminating in a lavish reception on the third day.

“The first two days will have a close, intimate atmosphere, followed by a grand reception on the final day. The festivities will occur at venues in Bandra and Lower Parel,” the source mentioned to IANS.

Previously, a source familiar with the couple's plans indicated that for Kritika and Gaurav, the wedding is not about extravagance but about significance.

“They opted out of a destination wedding in favor of a modern, minimalistic, and intimate celebration in Mumbai. They desire an event that resonates with their personalities and shared values. Every detail is being selected with great care.”

The source added: “They are thoroughly engaged in making this new chapter special, aiming for a celebration that feels genuine to them. From decor to styling, everything reflects that intention.”

Kritika made her relationship with Gaurav public in December via an Instagram post featuring candid snapshots from a breakfast date. She also shared a picture of their sneakers and a video of the couple clinking coffee mugs, adorned with “Bubby’s” written on them.

Her caption was understated yet playful, reading: “breakfast with…”.

Previously, Kritika was in a relationship with her Kitani Mohabbat Hai co-star Karan Kundra. She made her acting debut in 2007 with Yahan Ke Hum Sikandar. In 2009, she portrayed a singer, Arohi, in Kitani Mohabbat Hai opposite Karan. Subsequently, she appeared in Pyaar Ka Bandhan, Kitani Mohabbat Hai 2, and Kuch Toh Log Kahenge.

In 2015, Kritika took on the role of a reporter, Ananya Kashyap, opposite Rajeev Khandelwal, in Reporters. She later portrayed Princess Chandrakanta in Prem Ya Paheli – Chandrakanta.

She made her film debut in 2018 with Mitron. In 2021, she played a college student, Sana, in the web series Tandav.

In 2022, she played Princess Kamini in Kaun Banegi Shikharwati. Following that, she portrayed Dolly, a woman facing marital issues, in Hush Hush.

In 2023, she acted as a reporter, Vidhi, in the film Bheed. That same year, she also played Habiba in Bambai Meri Jaan, and her most recent release is Gyaarah Gyaarah.
