Mumbai, Feb 17 (NationPress) Actress Kritika Kamra and her fiancé Gaurav Kapur are diligently concluding their work obligations to fully engage in their wedding festivities scheduled for March.

A source close to the couple revealed, “Both Kritika and Gaurav are deeply committed to their careers, making it essential for them to responsibly finalize all previous duties before concentrating entirely on their wedding. They wish to savor this unique moment without feeling rushed.”

Kritika, who has recently started filming an independent genre movie, is focused on completing her shooting schedule seamlessly. This project, filmed in a start-to-finish manner, is anticipated to conclude by the first week of March.

The actress has been managing extensive shooting hours while also juggling personal tasks.

Gaurav, on the other hand, has been balancing a busy schedule with his hosting responsibilities during the ongoing World Cup. After the March celebrations, he is expected to resume his work commitments.

“The goal is to be entirely present, not preoccupied with shoots, scripts, or schedules. Once March begins, they intend to transition into full bride-and-groom mode and relish every moment with family and close friends,” the source added.

The couple is planning a modern and minimalist wedding, mirroring their down-to-earth personalities and shared tastes. Choosing intimacy over extravagance, Kritika and Gaurav are said to be personally involved in organizing the details, ensuring the celebration feels genuine and significant.

A source close to the wedding preparations informed IANS: “It will be a two-and-a-half-day affair. Kritika's family is traveling from Delhi.”

According to the source, the wedding will be intimate but will culminate in a lavish reception on the third day.

“The first two days will have a cozy, intimate vibe, followed by a grand reception on the third day. The events will take place across venues in Bandra and Lower Parel,” the source told IANS.

It was in December that Kritika made her relationship with Gaurav Kapur Instagram official.

Previously, Kritika was in a relationship with her Kitani Mohabbat Hai co-star Karan Kundra. She debuted in acting in 2007 with Yahan Ke Hum Sikandar. In 2009, she portrayed a singer named Arohi in Kitani Mohabbat Hai alongside Karan. She subsequently appeared in Pyaar Ka Bandhan, Kitani Mohabbat Hai 2, and Kuch Toh Log Kahenge.

In 2015, Kritika portrayed a reporter, Ananya Kashyap, opposite Rajeev Khandelwal in Reporters. She also appeared as Princess Chandrakanta in Prem Ya Paheli – Chandrakanta.

Kritika made her film debut in 2018 with Mitron. In 2021, she played a college student named Sana in the web series Tandav. In 2022, she first played Princess Kamini in Kaun Banegi Shikharwati. Most recently, she portrayed Dolly, a woman experiencing marital challenges in Hush Hush.

The actress played a reporter named Vidhi in the 2023 film Bheed. In the same year, she played Habiba in Bambai Meri Jaan, with her latest release being Gyaarah Gyaarah.
