Indore, July 11 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Mohan Yadav, inaugurated an exhibition titled "Building Cities of Tomorrow" at the Brilliant Convention Centre in Indore, part of the 'Madhya Pradesh Growth Conclave' held on Friday, as reported by government officials.
The event highlighted various urban development initiatives being implemented throughout the state, showcasing robust infrastructure, innovations, investment promotion policies, and various development schemes.
Among the displays were infrastructure models from the Indore Development Authority, including a multi-purpose sports park developed under a Public-Private Partnership, the convention centre near the airport, and a forthcoming startup park designed to enhance the city's startup ecosystem.
The exhibition also emphasized the significance of metro rail in the cities of the future.
Displays featured information about the Indore and Bhopal Rail Metro along with informative panels stressing efficient urban mobility solutions.
Commissioner of Urban Administration and Development Department, Sanket Bhondwe, mentioned on Thursday that the conclave will concentrate on four primary sectors: urban mobility (including electric bus transport, ropeways, and metro), urban forestry, real estate, and infrastructure development.
He highlighted that a significant number of investors from outside the state are anticipated to join, particularly in the real estate and infrastructure domains.
