Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Thursday, 24 September 2026, declared that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had devoted every moment of his life to the service of the nation, and would press on until hope, enthusiasm, and happiness reached every Indian citizen. Yadav made the remarks while addressing a state-level programme at Punjapura in Dewas district, organised under the 'Seva Sankalp Abhiyan' to commemorate Modi completing 25 years in public life.

The Seva Sankalp Abhiyan and Bike Yatra

'Prime Minister Modi has dedicated every moment and every part of his life to the nation on the strength of his resolve to serve the people,' Chief Minister Yadav said at the event. The occasion formed part of a wider campaign that includes a bike journey spanning the distance between Varanasi and Vadnagar — the two cities most associated with Modi's life — to spread messages of service, public interaction, and national unity.

The yatra, which departed from Varanasi on 17 September, involves 500 participants travelling on 250 motorcycles through several states and districts. Prime Minister Modi virtually interacted with the riders during the Dewas event. Rider Deepesh Goti, a resident of Shajapur district, shared his experiences with the Prime Minister, describing interactions with youth from other states, learning their languages and cultures, and meeting beneficiaries of government welfare schemes.

Chief Minister Yadav drew on cultural symbolism to underscore the campaign's message, noting that journeys have held special significance in Indian tradition since ancient times and were historically undertaken to promote unity among diverse communities. Welfare Funds Transferred, Infrastructure Announced

In a notable welfare action during the event, Chief Minister Yadav transferred ₹212.57 crore to the bank accounts of 35.42 lakh social security pension beneficiaries through a single-click digital mechanism. He also announced that the police assistance centre at Karnawad would be upgraded to a full police station, with residential facilities to be provided for police personnel and funds sanctioned for construction of a government warehouse.

Yadav outlined several welfare and development milestones, citing the state government's push across agriculture, education, and infrastructure. The area under irrigation in Madhya Pradesh has reportedly reached 65 lakh hectares, while wheat is being procured from farmers at ₹2,625 per quintal this year — including a ₹40 bonus over the minimum support price. The school education budget has been raised to ₹38,000 crore, with meritorious students in government schools receiving laptops, scooters, bicycles, books, and scholarships.
