In Arunachal Pradesh, Governor Lt Gen K.T. Parnaik (Retd.) marked the occasion of Holi with members of the Brahma Kumaris at Lok Bhavan in Itanagar. An official from Lok Bhavan revealed that during his interaction with the spiritual group, the Governor praised their efforts in promoting peace, harmony, and moral values within society.
He encouraged them to persist in their mission of spreading positivity and fostering unity among various communities across the state.

In Tripura, Governor Indra Sena Reddy Nallu celebrated Holi alongside staff, children, officers, and employees at Lok Bhavan in Agartala.
Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha extended his heartfelt greetings to the state's residents on the auspicious occasion of Dol Purnima and Holi.
In his message, he expressed his hopes that this festival of colours and purity will bring joy, harmony, and mental peace to everyone's lives. He also conveyed his desire for the bonds of brotherhood, love, and goodwill to strengthen during the celebrations.
Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu shared his warm wishes with the people of the state via a post on X, emphasizing that Holi reminds everyone that despite differing cultures, languages, and traditions, people share common values of love and togetherness.
“May the colours of Holi inspire us to work together for the progress and prosperity of our state. Celebrate safely and responsibly. Happy Holi!” wrote Khandu.
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma also sent his greetings on this occasion and took part in the Holi and Doul Utsav celebrations at Barpeta Satra.
On Holi, Assam Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya celebrated the festival with the Assam Rifles troops at the headquarters of the Inspector General (East) in Srikona, Silchar (Assam), amidst much enthusiasm.
A lively pipe band performance and kukri dance were part of the celebration, where the Governor joined the troops in exchanging festive greetings and applying colours.
Acharya commended the troops for their unwavering dedication and commitment to safeguarding the nation. Former Manipur Chief Minister N. Biren Singh also partook in the Holi festivities.
“A delightful view of the Holi celebrations at my residence on the festival's first day, filled with enthusiastic participants and the vibrant Holi Pala creating an atmosphere of colour, music, and festive spirit,” Singh noted in a post on his X handle.
