Hyderabad, April 27 (NationPress) Once again criticizing Pakistan for the terror attack in Pahalgam, All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) leader and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi declared on Sunday that Pakistan is not just a half an hour behind India, but a full half a century.
Owaisi made these remarks while speaking at a public meeting in Prabhani, Maharashtra, where he voiced his opposition to the Waqf (Amendment) Act.
The Hyderabad MP criticized Pakistan for the terror incident and brushed aside threats from Pakistani officials. “You are not just half an hour behind; you are half a century behind India. Your nation's budget doesn't even match our military budget,” he stated.
“Pakistan often boasts about its nuclear capabilities. Remember, any aggression towards another country and the killing of innocent civilians will not go unchallenged,” he added.
Owaisi pointed out that terrorists in Pahalgam identified the religion of tourists before committing murder. “What religion are you referring to? You are worse than the Khawarij. This act demonstrates that you are the heirs of ISIS,” he remarked.
He highlighted that Pakistan has been training terrorists for years to target India. Owaisi also claimed that international law permits India to implement a blockade of Pakistan’s Air Force and utilize ethical hackers to compromise their internet.
He urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to take decisive actions to economically undermine Pakistan.
Owaisi emphasized that Kashmiris are an integral part of India, stating, “Some TV anchors speak disparagingly about Kashmiris. They are shameless. Kashmir is our integral part, and therefore, Kashmiris are also a fundamental part of India. How can we doubt them?”
The MP noted that it was a Kashmiri who sacrificed his life fighting terrorists and another who carried an injured child for 40 minutes to save him.
Regarding the Waqf (Amendment) Act, Owaisi encouraged public participation in the protest programs announced by the All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB), urging people to partake in the ‘Batti Gul’ initiative on April 30 by turning off lights.
The AIMIM leader criticized Ajit Pawar, Nitish Kumar, Jayant Chaudhary, and Chandrababu Naidu for their support of the Waqf (Amendment) Bill, stating that Muslims and secular-minded individuals will not forgive them.
Owaisi accused Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar of back-stabbing again.
He also targeted Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, indicating that he jeopardized his son's political future by backing the Bill.
