Mumbai, May 31 (NationPress) Actor Pankaj Tripathi, who has made his comeback with the fourth season of the acclaimed streaming series ‘Criminal Justice’, reveals that he can seamlessly immerse himself into his role as Madhav Mishra because he has his Aadhar linked with this character.
During an interview with IANS for the show's promotional activities, the actor discussed his methodology for embodying his character. Given the vast amount of work available for performers at his level, he simplifies his approach by reading the character's details and reviewing episodes from earlier seasons. Once the signing fee is deposited, the character begins to flow through him.
Pankaj shared with IANS, “I have my Aadhar linked with Madhav Mishra. There’s no complicated process for me. Initially, we listen to the narrative, and if we appreciate it, we conduct a few readings with the complete cast. Director Rohan Sippy is present as well. This helps us grasp the foundational elements.”
Aadhaar is a unique twelve-digit identification number that residents of India can obtain voluntarily. It is based on their biometric and demographic information, making it the largest biometric identification system globally.
The actor also added, “If the character is an older one, we check out some episodes from the preceding season as needed. That's all. Once the signing amount is in, the character comes alive.”
‘Criminal Justice’ is a legal drama crime thriller series available on Hotstar Specials, inspired by the 2008 British series of the same name. The fourth season also features Surveen Chawla and Shweta Basu Prasad.
Produced by Applause Entertainment in collaboration with BBC Studios India and directed by Rohan Sippy, the fourth season of ‘Criminal Justice’ is currently streaming on JioHotstar.
