Lucknow, Aug 19 (NationPress) IAF Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla had the honor of meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday, following his groundbreaking mission to the International Space Station—a remarkable first for an Indian.
In this significant meeting, Shukla shared insights about his mission, where he played a pivotal role as a member of the crew.
Shubhanshu's family expressed their joy regarding the meeting with PM Modi.
Shambhu Dayal Shukla, his father, conveyed to IANS, “We are overwhelmed with joy. It was an emotional moment. PM Modi showered love and blessings on my son. Shubhanshu gifted the Tricolour to PM Modi, which he had taken to space.”
“We are arranging a special welcome for Shubhanshu upon his return to Lucknow, but we will finalize plans based on his schedule. We require two to three hours for any program, which might be challenging,” he remarked.
Asha Shukla, Shubhanshu's mother, shared that it was an incredibly joyous occasion. Reflecting on his journey to space, she noted that it was a historic and proud moment.
“Everyone at home was glued to the television, celebrating that joyous moment,” she added.
