Acclaimed Raagi Huzoori Bhai Ranjit Singh from Patna, alongside Bhai Rajinder Singh, Bhai Gagandeep Singh, and Bhai Devinder Singh Khalsa, performed Gurbani Kirtan, emphasizing the teachings and profound sacrifice of Guru Tegh Bahadur.
Prior to the Kirtan Darbar, dignitaries including Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, BJP National Secretary Narinder Singh Raina, State President Sunil Jakhar, State Working President Ashwani Sharma, and Parliamentary Board Member Iqbal Singh Lalpura, paid their respects at Takht Sri Keshgarh Sahib and offered 'ardas' (prayers) for the welfare and tranquility of the state.
At the event's conclusion, Giani Ranjit Singh, Head Granthi of Gurdwara Sri Bangla Sahib in Delhi, along with Union Minister Shekhawat, remarked, "Today serves not only as a remembrance of Guru Tegh Bahadur's martyrdom but also as an opportunity to draw inspiration from his sacrifices, teachings, and exemplary life, encouraging us to integrate these values into our own lives."
During the occasion, State BJP President Jakhar highlighted that Guru Tegh Bahadur made a remarkable sacrifice for the fundamental right of every individual to practice their faith—a sacrifice unparalleled in history.
He stated that the spirit of selflessness for the nation and community is deeply rooted in Punjabis from Guru Sahib, and the intent behind such events is to connect future generations with this glorious legacy.
Jakhar expressed, "Today, we have come to seek blessings from Guru Sahib and pray that we may embody his message in our lives."
He emphasized that by making his monumental sacrifice, Guru Tegh Bahadur "not only safeguarded Hinduism but also all of humanity, which is why he is honored with the title Hind Di Chadar."
Sharma announced that on November 24, a 'Sri Sukhmani Sahib Paath' will take place across all 628 mandals of the state BJP, with extensive participation from devotees and party members.
Moreover, Kirtan Darbars will be held in every district until November 30. He noted that these gatherings are not only manifestations of religious devotion but also serve as a platform to disseminate the Guru's timeless messages of sacrifice, unity, and truth to every individual and inspire them.
