Mumbai, Nov 26 (NationPress) R Madhavan is currently engaged in the filming of the eagerly awaited biopic about Gopalaswamy Doraiswamy Naidu, a pioneering Indian technical designer and industrialist.
As he completes the final schedule of the film overseas, Madhavan delighted his fans by sharing a sneak peek into the shooting process via social media.
He posted a video on his Instagram, showcasing his arrival at the filming site on a state-of-the-art Honda Goldwing Sports touring bike.
Upon his arrival, the '3 Idiots' star remarked, "Best way to come to the shoot for a film on G. D Naidu sir. What do you think?" before riding off with a smile.
In his social media post, he captioned it, "#GDN .. LAST SCHEDULE ABROAD" followed by several emojis including a hug, a red heart, and praying hands.
Earlier in October, the film's creators revealed the teaser for the first look.
This clip featured Madhavan transformed into Gopalaswamy Doraiswamy Naidu, diligently working in his workshop. Initially, his face was shielded by a welding mask, which he later removed to reveal an aged, distinguished look complete with spectacles, portraying him as the 'Edison of India'.
When sharing the teaser for "G.D.N." on the photo-sharing platform, Madhavan wrote, "The spirit of G.D.NAIDU is now officially unveiled. A story of unmatched vision, towering ambition, and unwavering resolve. We proudly present the First Look Teaser of G.D.N.".
"G.D.N." tells the story of Gopalaswamy Doraiswamy Naidu, a self-taught engineer and inventor from Coimbatore, celebrated for transforming the Indian industry by creating the nation's first indigenous electric motor. His other notable inventions include petrol engines, ticket machines, and various agricultural tools.
Directed by Krishnakumar Ramakumar, "G.D.N." is produced by Varghese Moolan Pictures in partnership with Tricolour Films.
The film's main cast features Priyamani, Jayaram, and Yogi Babu in pivotal roles, among others.
