Mumbai, October 26 (NationPress) – R Madhavan is poised to return to the silver screen with the eagerly awaited biopic, "G.D.N.". To further fuel excitement for this upcoming film, the production team has released the initial look teaser.
The teaser begins with Madhavan portraying Gopalaswamy Doraiswamy Naidu engrossed in his workshop activities. Initially, his face is obscured by a welding shield, and as he removes it, viewers are treated to an unexpected transformation. Madhavan appears as Naidu, sporting an aged yet striking look with glasses, making him quite hard to recognize as the 'Edison of India'.
Sharing the teaser on social media, Madhavan wrote, "The spirit of G.D.NAIDU is now officially unveiled. A story of unmatched vision, towering ambition, and unwavering resolve. We proudly present the First Look Teaser of G.D.N. (sic)."
This biographical film is a cinematic portrayal of Gopalaswamy Doraiswamy Naidu, a self-taught engineer, inventor, and industrialist from Coimbatore. His remarkable contributions include the creation of India’s first indigenous electric motor, petrol engines, ticket machines, and various agricultural tools.
Recently, Madhavan generated buzz on social media by sharing a sneak peek from the film's set, showcasing his clean-shaven appearance.

Directed by Krishnakumar Ramakumar, "G.D.N." is produced by Varghese Moolan Pictures in collaboration with Tricolour Films.
In addition to Madhavan, the film will feature Priyamani, Jayaram, and Yogi Babu in pivotal roles, among others. The music for the biopic is composed by Govind Vasantha.
Apart from "G.D.N.", Madhavan is also involved in "De De Pyaar De 2", starring alongside Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh.
