Mumbai, Jan 31 (NationPress) Raghav Juyal has received his inaugural IIFA nomination for 'Performance in a Negative Role'. He is recognized for his remarkable performance as Fani in the 2023 action thriller 'Kill'.

Reflecting on this milestone, Raghav Juyal expressed, "I am incredibly thankful for the overwhelming support I've received for Kill. This is my first nomination at the IIFA, and it holds a special place in my heart. Taking on a negative character for the first time required intense dedication, yet it was an exhilarating journey. He will be vying for the award alongside notable contenders including R. Madhavan (Shaitaan), Gajraj Rao (Maidan), Vivek Gomber (Jigra), and Arjun Kapoor (Singham Again).

Furthermore, 'Kill' has achieved two significant nominations at the esteemed Vulture Annual Stunt Awards 2025.

The film is up for the highly competitive 'Best Fight' category, showcasing an electrifying action sequence between Raghav Juyal and the lead character Lakshya. 'Kill' is set to compete against Hollywood heavyweights such as 'The Beekeeper', 'Life After Fighter', 'The Shadow Strays', and 'Twilight of the Warriors: Walled In'.

Additionally, 'Kill' has also earned a nomination for 'Best Overall Action Film'.

Moreover, the movie premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 7, 2023, where it was the first runner-up for the People's Choice Award: Midnight Madness. The film officially hit theaters on July 5, 2024.

Directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat, the project is supported by Dharma Productions in collaboration with Sikhya Entertainment. The film's narrative is inspired by a train heist experienced by Bhat in 1995. The main cast features Lakshya, Raghav Juyal, Ashish Vidyarthi, Harsh Chhaya, Tanya Maniktala, and Abhishek Chauhan.

The cinematography was conducted by Rafey Mehmood, and Shivkumar V. Panicker managed the editing.
