Jaipur, Jan 26 (NationPress) On the occasion of the 77th Republic Day celebrated on Monday, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma raised the Tricolour at his official residence. He acknowledged the salute from a contingent of the Rajasthan Armed Constabulary (RAC), under the command of Company Commander Rajendra Sharma.

Additionally, the Rajasthan CM paid homage to martyrs at the Amar Jyoti Memorial in Jaipur, honoring those who laid down their lives for the nation.
“At the Amar Jawan Jyoti memorial in Jaipur, I expressed my heartfelt respect to the courageous martyrs by laying a wreath. The bravery of these sons of Mother India, who devoted their lives to safeguarding our borders, will forever motivate us to serve our country. A million salutes to their unmatched courage!” he shared on his X handle.
He also highlighted the tableau displayed on Kartavya Path during Republic Day, stating, “This year’s Republic Day Parade showcased Rajasthan’s magnificent tableau, themed 'Rajasthan: The Golden Touch of the Desert', which celebrated the state’s timeless glory and cultural richness.
The tableau featured the exquisite Usta art of Bikaner and the moving sounds of the Ravanahatha, illustrating a vibrant blend of Rajasthan’s celebrated craftsmanship and unique traditions.
It represented the journey towards a ‘Developed Rajasthan’, where advancements proceed in harmony with the preservation and celebration of the state’s rich cultural heritage,” concluded the Chief Minister.
