This meeting, held at Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Shekhawati University in Sikar, was organized by the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT).

He reiterated that education should not just be about completing the syllabus; it plays a crucial role in protecting students' mental health.

The Minister urged teachers to be vigilant about subtle changes in students' behaviour. For instance, if a student shows sudden irritability, they deserve to be met with empathy.

Highlighting that only a mentally healthy teacher can foster a positive classroom environment, he stressed the importance of teachers also taking care of their mental well-being.

He called on all stakeholders to collaborate in developing an educational atmosphere where children evolve into not just successful professionals but also mentally healthy and values-driven individuals.

Minister Dilawar expressed that a prosperous nation is achievable only when its citizens are mentally strong and content.

He expressed hope that this consultation would significantly strengthen initiatives related to children's mental health and well-being in the state.

Attending the meeting were NCERT Director Dinesh Prasad Saklani, Prof. Vinod Kumar Sanwal from the Manodarpan Cell, Sitaram Jat, Director of the Rajasthan Education Department, and D. P. Singh, Coordinator from Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Shekhawati University, Bikaner.
