Key Takeaways
Mumbai, March 16 (NationPress) Actor Rajat Arora, known for his role as Mukka Gursewak Singh in the hit film "Dhurandhar" featuring Ranveer Singh, shared his thoughts on the collaboration. He described the experience of working alongside Ranveer as truly remarkable. Rajat expressed that the 'Padmaavat' star continues to be a source of inspiration.
“Collaborating with Ranveer Singh was an incredible experience. He is undeniably a vibrant personality, brimming with energy, warmth, and positivity,” Rajat remarked.
Reflecting on their initial meeting, Rajat recalled their encounter during the shoot in Thailand. “I vividly remember the first day I met him. While heading for my costume fitting, I saw him approaching. I thought to myself, ‘Wow, I’m actually going to meet Ranveer Singh in person. What should I say?’ I was lost in my thoughts when he greeted me with a smile and said, ‘Welcome to the gang, brother!’ followed by a warm hug. It felt surreal, a moment I will cherish forever,” he reminisced.
Rajat added that Ranveer was exceptionally friendly and supportive throughout the filming process. “Whenever he viewed scenes on the monitor, he would commend my work and occasionally provide guidance on specific moments, which significantly enhanced my performance,” he noted.
He also highlighted that Ranveer's humor extends beyond the camera. “During a montage scene, our director, Aditya Sir, advised us to engage naturally to create a realistic vibe. In a playful moment, I joked in the scene, ‘Bhaijaan, the non-veg over there is terrible; it messes up my stomach… let’s go somewhere else today.’ To which he quickly replied, ‘You should stick to vegetarian food!’ I managed to hold back my laughter during the take, but once the scene was over, I couldn’t contain myself. I often wonder how he comes up with such wittily spontaneous lines!”
