Key Takeaways
Patna, Nov 4 (NationPress) Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma fiercely criticized the RJD and the family of former MP Mohammad Shahabuddin, alleging their involvement in fostering terror in Siwan while urging constituents to vote against them.
During a rally in Raghunathpur, Sarma asserted that the Shahabuddin family holds a Guinness World Record for the highest number of murders in the region, calling for unity among residents to support the NDA and Nitish Kumar to cleanse the area of this legacy.
While refraining from mentioning the RJD candidate by name, he proclaimed that all 'Osamas' would be eradicated from Bihar and the nation.
“Following our electoral victory, we will systematically eliminate all Osama bin Ladens in our nation. This country is the land of Lord Ram, Lord Krishna, Mother Sita, and Lakshman; it will never belong to Osama bin Laden,” stated Sarma.
Sarma reminisced about the Ram Temple movement, claiming that Lalu and Mulayam obstructed progress, but now, the nation has leaders like Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah who can instigate real change.
The Raghunathpur seat has become a prominent three-way race: the RJD has nominated Osama Shahab, son of Mohammad Shahabuddin, Janata Dal (United) has chosen Vikas Kumar Singh, and Jan Suraj has fielded Rahul Kirti.
In the Mohiuddin Nagar assembly constituency in Samastipur, Uttar Pradesh, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath made a significant political statement during a rally, asserting that if the NDA regains power in Bihar, Mohiuddin Nagar will be renamed Mohan Nagar.
At an NDA rally at Mohiuddin Nagar High School, supporting BJP candidate Rajesh Kumar Singh, CM Yogi highlighted that BJP-led administrations have previously changed names like Allahabad to Prayagraj and Faizabad to Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh and similar actions would be taken in Bihar.
CM Yogi reiterated his UP model of action against crime, asserting that confiscated properties from criminals in Bihar would be allocated to the needy.
He criticized the RJD and Congress, claiming they presided over a 'jungle raj' in Bihar and questioned their ability to provide good governance.
He also claimed these parties attempted to obstruct the Ram Temple construction in Ayodhya.
During his approximately 20-minute speech, CM Yogi invoked Lord Ram and Jai Hanuman multiple times, also taking a jab at former Uttar Pradesh CM Akhilesh Yadav, who he accused of once embracing criminals but now speaking against them.
