Ahmedabad, March 13 (NationPress) Union Home Minister Amit Shah wished everyone a joyous Holi 2025 as he inaugurated and laid the groundwork for three vital projects. Among these is a Rs 60 crore, 1 km railway over-bridge on the Ahmedabad-Viramgam railway line at Sanand-Chekla-Kadi Road.

HM Shah highlighted that this project will significantly improve the daily travel experience for local residents once it is finished.

Furthermore, HM Shah announced the development of a four-lane bridge on National Highway 147 over the Narmada Canal, with a budget of Rs 36.30 crore, and a Rs 45 crore flyover bridge on the Sarkhej-Gandhinagar (SG) Highway at Chharodi.

As he noted, these initiatives will establish new landmarks within the four assembly segments of the Gandhinagar Lok Sabha constituency.

To improve healthcare availability, HM Shah disclosed that the Central government will construct a 500-bed modern hospital in Sanand, which will operate continuously for the residents of Sanand and Bavla talukas.

Moreover, a 300-bed government hospital is currently being built in Kalol taluka.

HM Shah assured that these hospitals will deliver advanced healthcare services conveniently once they commence operations.

While commending Gujarat's progress under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, HM Shah referred to the world's largest green energy park in Kutch, Asia's most extensive green city in Dholera, and the Surat-Chennai Expressway, which is India's second-longest highway.

He also mentioned the establishment of the GIFT City financial hub and the introduction of the Ahmedabad-Mumbai bullet train and rapid rail service from Bhuj to Ahmedabad as key achievements in Gujarat's advancement.

HM Shah emphasized that during PM Modi's administration, India has developed the world's second-largest road network, the third-largest metro rail system, and the fourth-largest railway network.

With 136 Vande Bharat trains and 97 percent electrification of broad gauge networks, the nation is making swift progress. He also pointed out that highways are constructed at a speed of 36.5 km per day, and the country now features 157 operational airports.
