Mumbai, June 30 (NationPress) Many of us cherish delightful memories from our childhood on rainy days. Actor Siddhant Chaturvedi took a moment to reflect on some of these nostalgic moments in his latest Instagram post.
Forgetting your umbrella and attempting to shield yourself from the rain using an examination pad, trying to appear stylish in a windcheater, or jumping into puddles to splash water on friends—these are the joyful experiences that define rain for the 'Gully Boy' star.
Sharing a couple of snapshots of his rainy day fun, Chaturvedi wrote, "Baarish ke dino me school mein chaata bhool jaana. Phir exam pad se sar dhakna, phir Wingsheeter pehen cool banana…aur saath chalte doston pe kood kood kar paani uchalna…Ye Kuch meri yaadein Baarishon ki…Ab aap Apni batao?"
On the professional front, Chaturvedi is currently filming his upcoming movie "Dhadak 2" alongside Triptii Dimri.
In a heartfelt post from Bhopal, he expressed, "Iss sheher mein meri Dhadhak basti hai." During his visit, he indulged in the simple pleasures of the city—enjoying tea by the lake, strolling along the Upper Lake, and savoring local cuisine.
In the last image, he included a poignant quote: "Sapnon ki kya kemat bataun...Bas roz kam hota hain udhaar mera."
Meanwhile, the creators of "Dhadak 2" have revealed the first-look poster featuring Chaturvedi and Dimri from the film.
In the poster, Chaturvedi is depicted as protecting his love with fierce determination, while Dimri is shown in a close-up, embracing the man she adores.
Chaturvedi will portray Neelesh in this sequel, while Dimri will take on the role of Vidhi.
Directed and written by Shazia Iqbal, this drama serves as a spiritual sequel to the 2018 film "Dhadak," which starred Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter.
Produced by Dharma Productions in collaboration with Zee Studios and Cloud 9 Pictures, "Dhadak 2" is anticipated to hit theaters on August 1.
