New Delhi, Oct 17 (NationPress) Sri Lankan Prime Minister Harini Amarasuriya visited NITI Aayog to enhance collaboration between the two nations and to gain insights into India's transformative initiatives across various sectors including infrastructure, education, tourism, skill development, and artificial intelligence, as announced on Friday.
This visit highlighted the mutual goal of India and Sri Lanka to strengthen strategic alliances, foster sustainable development, and utilize innovation and skills to tackle regional challenges and seize opportunities.
Both parties reaffirmed their dedication to nurturing a knowledge-driven, technology-oriented, and people-focused partnership under the 'Neighbourhood First' and MAHASAGAR frameworks.
Amarasuriya praised NITI Aayog for its role as a policy think tank and coordination hub, acknowledging its unique capability to connect long-term policy design with practical implementation.
