Hyderabad, Jan 30 (NationPress) Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy proudly received a certificate from the Harvard Kennedy School following his successful completion of an executive education course. Alongside a group of 62 participants, he finished the program titled ‘Leadership for the 21st Century’.
Upon fulfilling the program requirements, certificates were awarded by the faculty, as stated by the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO).
Conducted daily from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., the program took place in challenging temperatures of -15 to -24 degrees Celsius.
Initiated on January 25 at the renowned Kennedy School in Cambridge, Massachusetts, the program commenced with an orientation and an introduction to the cohort, starting with a session on 'Analysing Authority and Leadership'.
The Chief Minister traveled to the United States after participating in the World Economic Forum annual meeting in Davos, Switzerland.
Throughout the program, he engaged in classes, assignments, and group projects with fellow international students.
Revanth Reddy also had the opportunity to interact with students from Harvard Business School (HBS).
A group of predominantly Indian HBS students invited him to visit their campus, where they explored various career paths and challenges while discussing professional issues, including his mantra for success.
During this engagement, he elaborated on the TelanganaRising vision 2047, encouraging students to utilize their networks and skills to contribute to India’s growth and to promote the opportunities in Hyderabad and Telangana as brand ambassadors.
In addition to attending classes, the Chief Minister met with Professor Dustin Tinsley, Vice-Provost and Head of Harvard-X, and Professor Jeremy Weinstein, Dean of Harvard Kennedy School.
After introducing the TelanganaRising vision document, he sought collaboration with the Kennedy School, which received a positive response.
Furthermore, discussions covered educational frameworks and processes vital for enhancing education quality, developing modern skills, and the impact of human resource development on economic growth.
