Chennai, Mar 26 (NationPress) The producers of the yet-to-be-titled film directed by Merlapaka Gandhi, starring Telugu actor Varun Tej, unveiled a humorous promo on Wednesday as the full-scale shooting for this unique Indo-Korean horror-comedy commenced in Hyderabad.
Actor Varun Tej shared the comedic promo on his X account, including a link to the YouTube video, stating, "Not just comedy, it’s a horror comedy!! 촬영 시작 #VT15".
The promo features actor Sathya approaching Varun Tej to inquire about his upcoming projects. Upon learning that he is collaborating with director Merlapaka Gandhi, Sathya expresses his dissatisfaction, but quickly changes his tone to commend the director when he arrives.
Sathya then questions the director about his involvement in the film with Varun Tej, to which the director confirms positively. Varun Tej humorously remarks, "Is there a film that can exist without you? With you on board, any film will succeed!"
Varun continues, addressing the director, "Sathya is a very sought-after talent. He works with Mega Star Chiranjeevi in the morning and with Rebel Star Prabhas in the evenings. If he could spare us some dates, he would make us stars too!"
The compliments from Varun inflate Sathya's ego, leading him to assert, "If I am to participate in a film, I must first hear the story." The director responds, "I’ll get the writer to share the story with you, as it will provide much clearer understanding." When the writer arrives, the fun escalates as a Korean woman narrates the script in Korean!
The film, working title #VT15, has already sparked considerable excitement, particularly after its announcement coinciding with Varun Tej's birthday.
A striking poster released in January this year generated enthusiastic responses from both fans and cinema aficionados, hinting at an exciting blend of thrill and humor.
Importantly, the collaboration between an Indian actor and a Korean production has exhilarated fans, who are keen to see the film's outcome.
This project, being produced on a grand scale by UV Creations and First Frame Entertainment, will feature music composed by one of the leading music directors in South Indian cinema, S Thaman.
Sources indicate that actress Ritika Nayak is also part of the cast, with cinematography handled by Manoj H Reddy.
