Zahan took to Instagram to share two memorable photographs of the iconic star. The first photograph showcases Shashi Kapoor in a warm, book-lined room, likely his home. Clad in a white kurta-pajama, he holds a book and a pipe, appearing lost in contemplation. Behind him hangs a grand portrait of a warrior, perhaps a tribute to his rich cinematic or theatrical heritage.
The second image captures the legendary actor in front of Prithvi Theatre, surrounded by numerous play posters. Dressed in a simple white kurta-pajama, he radiates an effortless charm and deep passion for the performing arts.
In his caption, Zahan simply stated: “Salagirah dadaji.”
Shashi Kapoor, a recipient of four National Film Awards, starred in various English-language international films, mainly those produced by Merchant Ivory.

His final film was the long-delayed Ghar Bazar, released in 1998.
