New Delhi, Sep 1 (NationPress) India has emerged as a leader in excellent workplaces within Asia, with 48 out of the top 100 organizations operating in the country, a recent report revealed on Monday.
The report from Great Place To Work, an international authority on workplace culture, indicated that all 48 companies listed belong to the large enterprises category, while an additional 12 are recognized in the mid-size category.
This underscores India's rising prominence in workplace culture and employee satisfaction, the report noted.
Furthermore, organizations included in the prestigious 2025 list report a higher percentage of employees who experience positive working conditions compared to the average workplace in Asia.
Establishing strong trust between companies and their employees equips them to navigate disruptions, such as the advent of generative AI.
“These exemplary companies are paving the way, fostering workplaces that strengthen communities, enhance national prosperity, and contribute to a better global environment,” stated Michael C. Bush, CEO of Great Place To Work.
“The distinction among the winners of the 2025 Best Workplaces in Asia lies in their ability to consistently deliver a positive employee experience across key factors that define an exceptional workplace culture,” Bush elaborated.
Recognized companies operating in India this year include Novartis, Schneider Electric, Ericsson, Visa, and NVIDIA in the Large Category.
The findings are based on confidential survey data collected from over 3.2 million individual responses, reflecting the experiences of nearly 7.5 million employees throughout the region.
According to the report, 91 percent of employees feel involved in decisions affecting their work (up from 86 percent last year), while 86 percent report fair treatment from their supervisors (up from 83 percent last year).
Moreover, over 93 percent of employees feel they are treated fairly, regardless of their age, gender, position, race, or sexual orientation.
“It’s no wonder that employees at these celebrated organizations feel a deep sense of pride, connection, and confidence in their leadership’s vision and capabilities,” remarked Balbir Singh, CEO of Great Place To Work India.
This reflects a powerful commitment to fairness and excellence nurtured by these workplaces. The impressive representation of numerous Indian organizations on this list is certainly worthy of recognition,” he added.
