New Delhi, July 30 (NationPress) Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport (SVPIA), managed by the Adani Group, has proudly announced its top ranking in passenger satisfaction and experience as per the recent Airport Service Quality (ASQ) survey by the Airports Council International (ACI) for the second quarter of 2025.
This airport, falling within the 5–15 million passengers per annum (MPPA) category, achieved an outstanding score of 5 out of 5 for both the first and second quarters of 2025.
The acclaim stems from direct passenger feedback, focusing on factors such as travel convenience, waiting durations, staff friendliness, and overall comfort.
While the passenger satisfaction ratings emphasize aspects like waiting times, ease of movement, and staff assistance, the passenger experience score assesses how smooth, comfortable, and enjoyable travelers found their entire airport journey.
SVPIA has excelled in both categories, consistently ranking among the global top quartiles and within the Asia-Pacific region.
Passengers have commended the airport for its easily accessible check-in counters, minimal waiting times at security, courteous staff, tidy seating areas, and overall pleasant atmosphere.
The survey, conducted from April to June 2025, also highlighted a significant “emotional score,” indicating that travelers departed the airport with a positive sentiment about their journey.
SVPIA’s remarkable performance underscores Adani Airports’ ambition to elevate Indian airports to be globally competitive and passenger-focused.
Significant investments in infrastructure, digital services, and staff training have been made to enhance service quality.
With a legacy spanning over 80 years and covering 987 acres, SVPIA stands as Gujarat’s busiest airport, managing 13.3 million passengers in 2024–25 and operating nearly 280 flights daily.
It also processes over 100,000 metric tons of cargo each year. Recently, the airport has garnered multiple accolades, including being the first in India to receive the esteemed 5S Certification from JUSE and QCFI, attaining Level 4 accreditation from ACI, and achieving Zero Waste to Landfill recognition from the CII-ITC Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Development.
