Arundhati Bhattacharya Takes the Helm for Salesforce Operations in ASEAN Starting February 1

New Delhi, Dec 11 (NationPress) Arundhati Bhattacharya, serving as the CEO and Chairperson of Salesforce India, is set to lead the company's operations in the ASEAN region starting on February 1, 2025.
The key countries included in her leadership will encompass Singapore, Philippines, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, and Indonesia, along with India, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh.
The sales leadership team in ASEAN will report to Arun Parameswaran, MD Sales at Salesforce India, who will continue to report to Bhattacharya effective from February 1.
Salesforce India and ASEAN have united to form a single entity known as the ‘One South Asia Operating Unit’.
Under Bhattacharya's guidance, Salesforce India has achieved a remarkable revenue increase of 36 percent, reaching Rs 9116.3 crore for the financial year ending on March 31, compared to the previous year, as per their regulatory filings.
Currently, Salesforce employs 13,000 individuals in India across six locations: Bengaluru, Mumbai, Delhi/Gurugram, Hyderabad, Jaipur, and Pune.
The Salesforce ecosystem continues to flourish in India, supported by a robust network of strategic partners, start-ups, and over two million Salesforce developers, with more users of ‘Trailhead’ than in any other market outside the US.
Additionally, the company has plans for a new Salesforce Tower in Bengaluru, which will be one of ten tower investments in key markets, including San Francisco, New York, Chicago, London, Dublin, Sydney, Tokyo, Atlanta, and Indianapolis.
Since opening its Hyderabad Centre of Excellence in 2016 and expanding it in 2023, Salesforce has positioned India as a vital talent and global innovation hub for the company. Presently, Salesforce employs over 13,000 people across its offices in Bengaluru, Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Pune, and Jaipur.
Meanwhile, Salesforce has significantly expanded its presence in the ASEAN region over recent years, developing and supporting growing teams while evolving customer experiences in emerging markets like Thailand and Indonesia.
